What will I learn? 

Over a 3 day block, you will learn sketching your subject, simplification and the importance of a 'limited palette', how to loosen your watercolours and gain knowledge in composition.
 
What brushes should I buy, and how many?
 
Should I use premixed greens?
 
The importance of planning your work.
 
What is Art and David's very simple answer.

All these questions and more will be answered in a casual and jargon free way.
Typically a three day course would be

Finding your subject landscape, sketching and composition.
We would cover watercolour sketching, the importance of observation and improving your subject, artistic license, and colour. Various brush techniques and applications, colour balance and continuity through out your painting. Students will work towards completing at least one finished painting. There is no rush or pressure and you will have gained the knowledge and confidence to produce better watercolour paintings in your own time.

1 Day and 2 Day courses will cover some of these issues and I'm sure they will have instilled the know how to produce pleasing watercolour pictures.

David is a fully qualified teacher in 16 plus (a level) and adult education, for this reason, please note that these activities are not designed for persons under 16 years of age without adult supervision. Family bookings are accepted, children must be 10 years of age or over. Discount for group bookings.
