There is in depth information on the brushes, paint, paper and most importantly the techniques used to complete the finished painting.

The paint colours used in this demonstration are as follows,
Ultramarine Blue, Burnt Sienna, Alizarin Crimson, Yellow Ochre.

The brushes used in this demonstration are as follows,
Number 8 Round Sable synthetic mixture brush. Number 3 Round Sable synthetic mixture brush.
0 Cotman 333 Rigger brush. One inch Flat Wash brush, Sable synthetic mixture.

(Optional but helpful) Watercolour masking fluid also an old number 8 Round brush.

Bockingford Watercolour Paper: A3, 16” x 12” (406mm x 305mm)

Having the exact brush size/make is not imperative however it will help you to follow the instruction more closely. Although this DVD deals with the start to finish completion of the picture "Bonfire" all the techniques used are traditional watercolour methods that can be used later on future projects of your own
